Who runs this site
St. Augustine Dock Repair is operated by Brian Higdon, sole proprietor. It is an information and project-request service. It is not a contractor, is not licensed or certified to perform the work described here, and does not perform, price or supervise construction. It may review a request and, when independent coverage is available, offer an introduction. No introduction is guaranteed.
What this site collects
When you submit the project-request form, you give us:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you provide one;
- whatever you choose to type in the free-text box describing the job.
This site intentionally runs no visitor analytics, advertising pixels, session recording or chat widget, and it sets no marketing cookies. The project-request form loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a security verification service used to distinguish people from automated abuse. Turnstile processes browser and network security signals and returns a short-lived verification token. Your browser sends that token and the form fields together to this site's Worker. The Worker does not send your form fields to Turnstile, and it does not store or email them unless server-side verification succeeds.
The consent record
When you tick the consent box, we write a record of it. That record contains the exact wording you were shown and its version number, the date and time, the page you submitted from, your browser's user-agent string, the country your request came from, and a one-way salted hash of your IP address — not the IP address itself. The record is stored in this property's dedicated private bucket. The record is not shared with another property and is available only to the operator and the hosting services needed to process it.
This preserves what you actually agreed to, using the exact disclosure published with that version, if a question later arises about contact related to the request.
Who receives your information
- The site operator, who reviews the request and may respond to it.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site's standalone application, stores its records, verifies form submissions through Turnstile and delivers the operator notification.
- An independent contractor, only if one is available and the operator chooses to offer an introduction for the request you submitted.
We do not sell or rent your information, combine it with another site's leads, or put it into a list for resale.
Being contacted, and stopping it
By ticking the consent box you agreed that St. Augustine Dock Repair may call, text or email you about the request. That consent is not a condition of buying anything. You can withdraw it at any time: reply STOP to a text or email contact@staugustinedockrepair.com. If an introduction was already made, you must also tell that independent business to stop contacting you.
Deletion and retention
Email contact@staugustinedockrepair.com and we will delete your lead information when legally permitted. Request, consent and delivery records in this property's private Cloudflare bucket automatically expire after five years. This period preserves a documented history of requests and consent for operations, legal compliance and dispute resolution. A copy of the request is delivered to the operator's mailbox and is retained only as reasonably needed for the same purposes. A deletion response will identify what was deleted and explain any information that must remain for a legal reason.
Children
This site is aimed at property owners. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
